The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for freshness, stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot.
• Operate cash register, handle payments, make change, and process transactions. Handle refunds with management approval.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcohol.
• Assist customers courteously with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles upon request.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies accurately.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact with the public and co-workers.
• Understand instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Present information effectively to individuals and small groups.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
