The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is essential to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to deliver excellent customer service, stock shelves with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product dates for proper rotation, and stock shelves, displays, and cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards inside and outside the store, including the parking lot.
• Operate a cash register, process payments and refunds, and verify customer eligibility for alcohol sales.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, including loading purchases into vehicles upon request.
• Perform basic bookkeeping, record damaged or lost goods, and manage store supplies.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English and interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Ability to understand simple instructions, product labels, and pricing codes.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and lift/move up to 60 pounds occasionally.
