EssilorLuxottica’s LensCrafters is seeking an Associate Optometrist to lead high-quality eye care in a store setting. You will collaborate with the MOD, SMM and team to support medical and pre/post-operative eye care, ensuring excellent patient experiences.

The role emphasizes clinical protocols, continuing education, and building strong doctor/patient relationships in a dynamic retail eyecare environment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry
• Commitment to quality patient care
• Knowledge of Medical Optometry, including Billing and Coding
• Knowledge of Surgical Care and practices pertaining to Optometry
• Knowledge of current Optometric theory & technology
• Strong communicator & listener
• Problem solving ability
• Solid Organization skills
• Residency trained
• Medical care experience

Responsibilities

• Executes excellence with KPI management and high accountability.
• Demonstrates commitment to exceed results and be a medical eyecare provider in the community.
• Operates as a stakeholder to leaders within the organization & local market.
• Places the patient/customer first and delivers excellent service.
• Delivers service steps: eyewear recommendations, explains eye exams, uses tools to summarize vision and health.
• Addresses visual lifestyle needs including medical and surgical recommendations.
• Maintains Doctor/Patient relationships and diagnoses as appropriate.
• Maintains licensure and continuing education requirements.
