The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes, and stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
2. Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
3. Maintain sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot as directed.
4. Operate a cash register, process payments, refunds, and verify customer eligibility for alcoholic beverages.
5. Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers with current store and product information.
6. Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
7. Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies accurately.

What You'll Bring

1. Ability to read and write English, interact with the public and co-workers.
2. Understand instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
3. Present information effectively to individuals and small groups.
4. Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
5. Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
