The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes for proper rotation, and stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
2. Set up advertising/promotional displays and review invoices/bills for accuracy.
3. Maintain sanitation standards in all store and parking lot areas as directed by management.
4. Operate a cash register, process payments and refunds, and handle transactions accurately.
5. Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
6. Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
7. Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
8. Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

What You'll Bring

1. Ability to read and write English, interact with the public and co-workers.
2. Ability to understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, and memos.
3. Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
4. Apply common sense to follow detailed but simple instructions.
5. Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and 60 pounds occasionally.
