The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success!

Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
2. Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices and bills for accuracy.
3. Maintain sanitation standards in all areas of the store and parking lot as directed.
4. Operate a cash register, process payments, make change, and handle refunds with management approval.
5. Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
6. Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
7. Assist customers to their vehicles when requested.
8. Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

What You'll Bring

1. Ability to read and write English, interact with the public and co-workers.
2. Understand simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
3. Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
4. Apply common sense to follow detailed but simple instructions.
5. Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
