Job summary

42 North Dental in Hampton, New Jersey is seeking a part-time Dentist to lead the patient’s entire clinical experience from exam through treatment, including in-office specialties such as perio, endo, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will diagnose conditions, plan treatments, educate patients, and maintain comprehensive dental records while staying current with evolving best practices. This role offers CE opportunities and a strong patient flow.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standard of care and ethics.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
