The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes, stock shelves, displays, and cases. Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot.
• Operate cash register, handle payments, give change, and process transactions. Handle refunds with management approval.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcohol.
• Assist customers courteously with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles upon request.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact well with the public and co-workers.
• Understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and 60 pounds occasionally.

Extra Bonus if You Have

• Basic PC and Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.
