Job summary

TD Bank Group in Passaic, NJ is seeking an Associate Banker I for a part-time role (20 hours) with a preference for bilingual Spanish speakers. You will be the first point of contact, guiding client flow and delivering a high-touch banking experience while promoting TD’s products and services.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of client-facing experience; teller/cash-handling background is a plus. Availability for evenings/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year demonstrated experience working with clients (volunteering, education, military experience acceptable).
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client facing/financial institution preferred.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrates the overall client experience by effectively managing client flow (in-person and phone).
• Serves as the hospitality ambassador for the financial center, delivering consistent, relationship-driven experiences.
• Creates personalized, client-first interactions that establish trust from the initial engagement.
• Balances client needs with policy adherence and risk awareness to ensure compliant outcomes.
• Educates clients on banking products and digital capabilities, connecting them to specialists as needed.
• Advocates for clients with empathy, integrity, and a long-term perspective.
