Mifflinburg Area School District is seeking an Assistant Varsity Boys Wrestling Coach to lead, train, and manage the varsity wrestling program at Mifflinburg Area High School. This part-time role includes stipend-based compensation and annual review.

The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently, and adherence to all district coaching policies and PIAA requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to establish positive working relationships with staff.
• Must be able to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
• Follows district policies and participates in in-service trainings.

Responsibilities

• Supervises pupils in school and community as assigned.
• Uses positive behavior support strategies to manage student behavior.
• Works as part of a team to achieve goals.
• Displays judgment in emergencies or medical situations.
• Complies with policies and participates in required trainings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures coaching requirements (PIAA) are completed (e.g., NFHS courses, First Aid safety, etc.).
