Sewickley Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach to support the Head Coach in all aspects of the baseball program. This part-time role focuses on after-school practices and game days, with responsibilities spanning planning, coaching, and mentorship of student-athletes.

Ideal candidates will have high school coaching experience, deep baseball knowledge, and strong communication skills, with a flexible schedule for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching at the high school level is preferred.
• Knowledge of baseball rules and strategies is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach and staff.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Availability for evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices and games.
• Help develop and implement game strategies and tactics.
• Assist in recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to student-athletes.
• Assist in equipment and facilities management.
• Attend team meetings and events as required.
