Job description

Penn State Scranton, a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for a Part-Time Track and Field Assistant Coach within the Department of Athletics.

The Assistant Coach is responsible for practice preparation, player development, game day coaching and recruiting and supervising both player personnel under the head coach. Additionally, the Assistant Coach must be well versed in Track and Field with previous coaching experience preferred. Hours are primarily in-season with a requirement for recruiting in the off-season.

This position requires strict adherence to PSUAC, USCAA and NCAA Division III rules. All applications, cover letters and resumes must be submitted electronically. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position if filled.

Background Checks/Clearances

• PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
• This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties.
• A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
