Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring a part-time Assistant Teacher in Apex, NC, delivering care to infants, toddlers and preschoolers, M-F 1pm-5:30pm. You will assist with hands-on activities, support learning, maintain daily communication with families, and help keep classrooms safe and organized in alignment with Bright Horizons policies.

The role requires background checks, 18+ with HS diploma/GED, and preferred CDA/Associate/Bachelor in early education.

Qualifications

• Background checks required by state and Bright Horizons.
• 18+ years with HS diploma or GED.
• 1 year of childcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center.
