Job summary

The Malvern School is seeking an Assistant Teacher to float between classrooms at The Malvern School of Blue Bell. This is a part-time position in Blue Bell, PA.

You will assist in delivering a high-quality Early Childhood Education program, maintaining a safe and engaging classroom, and communicating with parents using various channels. Growth opportunities and ongoing training are available within our philosophy-driven program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience.
• Must be (or be willing to start) pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate) OR a degree in the field.

• Maintain a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, in person and via technology, meeting or exceeding expectations.
