Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Augusta area store. You will assist with daily store operations, support customer service goals, and help develop store associates.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and store-management experience preferred. You will help manage inventory, schedule staff, and ensure safety and cleanliness across the sales floor and stockroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Experience in retail/store management is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven customer service and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions in a positive, friendly manner.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas of the store.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain records and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, safe, and presentable store areas.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
