We’re seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to help lead the store. You’ll support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and team development. Think of yourself as a mix of Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker—ready to handle any challenge while driving sales and building lasting customer relationships.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support your Store Manager in achieving sales and comparable sales goals.
• Help recruit, develop, and retain a passionate, collaborative team to run the store.
• Create buzz and engage customers through promoting new products, leveraging social media, and offering benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Provide leadership to ensure the store operates smoothly, balancing operational duties, delegation, and customer-first practices.
• Monitor shrink, loss prevention, payroll, and associate schedules.
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ about trends and customer feedback.
• Analyze sales reports and use data to inform strategies to meet sales goals.
• Merchandise the store effectively, following planograms and launching promotions on time.
• Collaborate with your Store Manager to develop a high-performing, customer-focused team.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 1-2 years of retail store management experience, especially if you love music and pop culture.
• Experience leading successful teams with skills in communication, recruiting, operations, and team development.
• Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and operational tasks.
• High school diploma or GED; a degree is a plus.
• Ability to adapt quickly and handle the fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
