Job summary

Storage Asset Management is seeking a sales-focused professional to drive storage rentals and deliver exceptional customer service. You will conduct facility tours, maintain the property, and support marketing initiatives while building relationships with local groups.

Open weekend availability and a proactive, energetic mindset are essential. Prior leasing or sales experience is a plus with opportunities for growth within SAM.

• Be the sales champion, converting inquiries into immediate storage rentals.
• Elevate the customer experience with engaging facility tours.

• Strategically implement marketing plans following guidelines.
• Establish a visible presence in local professional associations and community functions.
• Participate in tailored sales training and industry events.
• Mentor and empower assistant managers with sales acumen.
• Proactively manage rent collections and fees.
• Maintain precise accounting records with transparency.

Requirements:

• Exceptional customer service skills a must
• Open availability including weekends is needed
• Ability to perform light maintenance and overall property upkeep
• Management experience in leasing, retail, or operation environment
• Previous experience in sales or marketing with a proven ability to generate business and close leads
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be energetic and open to new ideas and direction changes
• A High School diploma /GED equivalent. College education a plus
• Must be able to stand for several hours at a time and lift 25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation
• Completion of pre-employment background screening
• Previous experience in storage management a plus!
