Job summary

Dollar Tree in Sapulpa, OK is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store functions, help customers, organize merchandise, and participate in opening/closing procedures while upholding company policies.

A part-time role offering opportunities to lead and train store associates and maintain a safe, friendly shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Supervise, train and develop store associates.
• Ensure safe, respectful environment and professional customer interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms, floors, trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
