Penn State Schuylkill in Schuylkill Haven, PA seeks a part-time Assistant Coach for the Softball Team. This role assists the head coach with coaching, recruitment, and weekly practice planning, while helping foster a positive team culture and leadership within the athletics program.
Responsibilities include coordinating practice schedules, providing feedback to nominate awards, and supporting community service initiatives.
Penn State Schuylkill, located in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, is a member of the USCAA and Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC), and is accepting applications for the part time Assistant Coach of the Softball Team.
This part-time position is responsible for assisting the head coach with all aspects of the Softball program, including evaluating and recruiting academically qualified and talented student-athletes.
Required - High school diploma.
Preferred - Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
Required - Coaching or playing experience at the high school level.
Preferred - Collegiate coaching experience.
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
