As a BoxLunch Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 at Tanger Outlet Center Westgate, you’ll play a vital role in our success by supporting the store leadership team in providing an excellent customer experience, ensuring fans can get their hands on the merchandise they love. You’ll leverage your fandom knowledge to help train new recruits and support daily operations and sales targets.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide an exceptional shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty through your product knowledge, customer service skills, and enthusiasm.
• Support store operations by stepping in and stepping up when needed, including covering the sales floor and providing leadership support in the absence of your Manager.
• Assist with opening and closing the store as required, ensuring security and readiness.
• Operate the register, process transactions, and utilize your fandom knowledge to promote add-on sales and services like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Communicate shortages or overages to your Store Manager.
• Understand and contribute to the store's sales plan, including key KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Assist with planogram updates, including store layout, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising.
• Share fashion trend insights with management and headquarters to help shape product offerings.
• Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of store assets.
• Maintain organized stock rooms and keep the store tidy and welcoming.
• Contribute to building a collaborative, passionate team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your Store Leader.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Minimum of 1 year retail experience. Passion for philanthropy and pop culture is a plus!
• Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and team development.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
