Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent coaching experience required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of innovative coaching strategies and techniques.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities for student-athletes.
• Knowledge of NJCAA rules/requirements relevant to intercollegiate athletics.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching leadership aligned with COD mission, vision and core values.
• Manage day-to-day operations including practices and games.
• Recruit prospective student athletes from high schools following NJCAA guidelines.
• Adhere to college policies related to team budgets and finances.
• Assist in travel and transportation arrangements and handling of funds for team travel.
• Monitor sportsmanship and conduct of student-athletes.
• Attend coaches department meetings and perform other duties as needed.
