Job summary

Western Hills High School in Frankfort, KY is seeking an Assistant Cheer Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a part-time role reporting to the Head Coach/ Athletics Director/ Principal, assisting in all aspects of the cheer program and supervising students.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: a high school diploma or G.E.D and 21 years of age.
• CPR/AED certification and required training per board policy; including safety and discipline procedures.
• Clear criminal records check and adherence to KHSAA and NFHS guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach in all phases of coaching in the sport involved.
• Enforces disciplined and sportsmanlike behavior at all times.
• Fills in for the Head Coach when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
