Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in a related field and proof of successful completion of 18 graduate semester hours of ASL courses required
  • Licensure & Certifications: RID (CSC, CDI, CI, CT, NAD IV, NAD V, NIC, CASLI), BEI Advanced, and/or ASLTA certification
  • A Master’s degree in ASL
  • Teaching experience using the Signing Naturally curriculum
  • Knowledge of ACTFL, CCIE and ASLTA standards
  • Experience teaching ASL classes

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned courses following the mode of instruction (In-person two days per week or Hybrid in person one day per week and online); maintain an updated gradebook on Blackboard, weekly announcements, and timely communication with students throughout the semester.
