Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Teach one or more sections of undergraduate ASL courses (ASL I–IV).
  • Deliver instruction primarily in ASL in an immersive environment.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams.
  • Incorporate Deaf culture, community norms, and current events into instruction.
  • Hold regular office hours and respond to student inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain attendance and grade records in the LMS.
  • Participate in program meetings and curriculum discussions.
  • Uphold classroom leadership principles emphasizing accountability and growth.
