  • Deliver instruction primarily in ASL, fostering an immersive language-learning environment.
  • Assess student progress in receptive and expressive ASL skills through structured assignments, quizzes, and in-class evaluation.
  • Incorporate Deaf culture, community norms, and current events into instruction.
  • Hold regular office hours and respond to student communication in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and grade records using the university's learning management system.
  • Participate in occasional program meetings and curriculum discussions.
  • Uphold the program's classroom leadership principles, which emphasize student accountability, direct feedback, cultural immersion, and professional growth.
