Job summary

The Spine Team Texas Ambulatory Surgical Center in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse to support the medical staff during procedures. The ASC RN provides pre- and post-op patient care in line with policy and procedures.

The role requires active communication about patient status with the health team and providers, and reports to the ASC Nurse Manager. Texas RN license and BLS/ACLS are required within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Preferred OR or Ambulatory Surgery Center experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for senior management.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to plan and execute work projects.
• Ability to work independently or with others.
• Proficient in English, written and verbal.
• Pre-op, PACU and pain management OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Medical staff during procedures in the ASC.
• Provide pre-op and post-op patient care per policies and procedures.
• Notate patient status and condition in charts/EMR.
• Inform families with necessary information pre/post admission.
• Perform other duties as assigned by ASC Nurse Manager.
