Job summary

The Creekside School is seeking a Part-Time Art Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in San Jose. The Art Therapist will provide direct art therapy services and meaningful experiences to students with autism and developmental disabilities, supporting coping, communication, and social-emotional skills.

You will design and manage an engaging art therapy program, collaborate with teachers and families, and adapt approaches to individual needs while maintaining data-driven progress

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Art Therapy or related field.
• ATR or ATR-BC registration.
• Experience with autism spectrum or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage an engaging art therapy program.
• Provide high-quality individual and group art therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers and Related Services to support student goals.
• Collect and review data to track student progress and adjust programming.
