The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with Texas certification, demonstrates classroom management, and can conduct both in-person and remote teaching. Background check and Safe Haven training are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related discipline required.
• Texas State Teaching Certification required.
• Criminal background check clearance required.
• Safe Haven training completed or able to obtain.
• Catechist Certificate current or in progress.
• Able to teach both face-to-face and remote learning.

Responsabilités

• Develop and administer curriculum aligned with school goals and objectives.
• Create a safe, nurturing classroom conducive to individualized and small group instruction.
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials and adapt to student needs.
• Assess student learning and adjust teaching methods as needed.
• Teach responsible digital citizenship and adhere to school policies and procedures.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and collaboration with staff.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance and reporting.
