Qualifications

• High school degree or GED; college-level art courses required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in education or with youth.
• Enthusiasm and resourcefulness to work with families and young children.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Customer service experience with diverse audiences.
• Ability to adapt materials and presentation style for age-appropriate instruction.
• Michigan driver's license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop materials for programs and school field trip tours.
• Present information to diverse audiences in an articulate, thoughtful, and enthusiastic manner; adapting programs by age and ability.
• Explain art materials and perform hands-on workshop demonstrations for groups of visitors or school groups. Maintain program storage area, supplies, teaching materials, equipment, and logs.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality and performance standards set forth in Cranbrook’s employee handbook.
