Job summary

Broward College invites applications for a part-time teaching position in the Visual Arts department. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Art, Fine Art or Studio Art or a related field, with 18 graduate credits in Art/Studio Art or Graphic Design.

Prior college teaching experience is preferred and a high level of computer literacy is required. Responsibilities include engaging students with technology, maintaining office hours, and contributing to course development and college

Qualifications

Minimum education as stated: Master's degree in Art, Fine Art or Studio Art or Master's in Art/Graphic Design with 18 grad credits in Art/Studio Art.
Prior college teaching experience preferred.
High level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching.
All schedules require office hours and may include evenings/weekends.

Utilize engaging technology across modalities to facilitate learning.
Engage diverse learners with responsive pedagogical techniques.
Provide prompt and constructive feedback to students during office hours and assessments.
