Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Armed Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL. You will provide customer service to passengers and staff while conducting armed patrols at transportation facilities, deterring incidents and maintaining security presence.

The role offers flexible day/night shifts with pay of $19.57 per hour. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license and preferred armed guard license; minimum age 21 and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Provide professional customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and contractors while following site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly using established procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior.
• Document incidents according to site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, parking areas, platforms, vehicle access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly transportation environment by providing directions, supporting crowd management activities, and documenting incidents in accordance with site procedures.
