Job summary

Allied Universal in Buffalo, NY is seeking a part-time Armed Patrol Response Security Officer to protect clients across Retail/Malls and other settings while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a visible security presence. You will monitor and deter security-related incidents, respond to issues calmly, and report activity to site leadership.

Minimum requirements include an Armed Guard Card, being 21+, a high school diploma, and successful background and drug screening.

Qualifications

Armed Guard Card/License required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum age 21 for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen required.
Licensing and training as required by state/local laws.
Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer disputes, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
