Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Armed Security Officer in De Leon Springs, FL. You will patrol, deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service at an aerospace/defense site, while maintaining strict access control and reporting procedures.

You will undergo required security training, background checks, and a drug screen. The role requires an armed guard card, DoD Secret Clearance, and being at least 21 years old. Flexible scheduling with the Claim a Shift platform is available.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, including emergency response at an aerospace/defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering restricted areas per site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and irregular conditions in required reports and communicate findings to leadership.
