Job summary

Allied Universal in Dallas, TX is seeking an Armed Security Guard Part Time Perimeter Patrol to safeguard government facilities and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. The role involves patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access points, and maintaining a calm response to incidents while following established procedures.

Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience, an armed guard card or license, being at least 21, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required, controlling entry and assisting with visitor direction in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol activity, and observations, and promptly communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
