Job summary

BSNC in Kings Bay, GA seeks a Part-Time Armed Security Guard Instructor to train armed security personnel in firearms safety, range procedures, and force protection in accordance with Navy and DoD standards.

Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, conducting weapons qualifications, mentoring security staff, and ensuring compliance with installation policies. A rigorous physical program and clearances are required, with the goal of enhancing operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Must be CPR Instructor certified (American Red Cross).
• Must be National Rifle Association (NRA) Instructor certified
• Must be Non-Lethal Weapons (NLW) Instructor Certified
• Must be able to Pass 1 ½ run in 17:30min and conduct 19 Push-ups
• Must obtain a confidential security clearance

Responsibilities

An Armed Security Guard Instructor is expected to maintain a professional military-style appearance, physical readiness, and the ability to safely perform security and training duties.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to run, bend, kneel, crawl, climb, and lift equipment when necessary.
• Ability to carry firearms, ammunition, tactical gear, and training equipment.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds or more.

Additional Qualifying Factors
