Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Armed Security Officer in Temple Terrace, FL, to patrol a financial institution, deter incidents, and ensure a secure environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, conducting armed patrols, monitoring access points, and maintaining accurate reports and documentation. A valid driver’s license is required for driving roles, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required in the job state.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas, with professional interactions and accurate visitor/incident documentation.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and complete required reports, logs, and communications.
