Candidates must hold an Armed Guard Card or License, a valid driver’s license, be at least 21, and have a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen is required, as permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations calmly and per established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify authorized entry, and document observations and patrol activity.
• Maintain a professional presence and communicate clearly with residents, visitors, management, and responders.
