Job summary

Madison College is recruiting a pool of highly motivated and qualified candidates to teach part time courses for the Architectural Technology program for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis.

This part-time teaching role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction, developing a relevant curriculum, and advising students while participating in college service activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, construction management, or related field.
• Two years or 4,000 hours of work-related experience.
• At least 1 year occupational work experience (2,000 hours) within 5 years prior to appointment.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Instruct in the Architectural Technology program.
• Develop instructional strategies and delivery methods including hybrid, face-to-face, and online.
• Participate in in-service meetings, staff development or other department activities.
• Advise students on assignments, tests, grades, and career concerns.
• Maintain office hours for student assistance and counseling.
• Assist students in developing work experience assignments such as internships.
• Contribute to college service activities at department, division and college levels.
