Job summary

Madison College is seeking qualified candidates to teach part-time courses in the Architectural Technology program for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis for a pool of instructors.

The role involves developing curriculum, delivering instruction in hybrid/online formats, advising students, and participating in departmental activities. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and relevant work experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, construction management, or a related field.
• 2,000 hours of work-related experience.
• At least 1 year of occupational work experience (2,000 hours) within the last 5 years or waived if 2 years of post-secondary teaching experience recently.
• Ability to deliver instruction in hybrid, face-to-face, and online formats.

Responsibilities

• Teach part-time courses for the Architectural Technology program.
• Develop and implement progressive curriculum and effective learning strategies.
• Deliver high-quality instruction and assess student learning.
• Advise students and maintain office hours for support.
• Collaborate with department and college on service activities.
