Job summary

Community College of Denver seeks an experienced Adjunct Instructor to design and deliver Architecture and Environmental Construction (AEC) courses. You will develop course curricula, establish grading and assessments, and collaborate with the program chair to align content with program goals.

Teaching may include day or evening classes, with regular office hours outside of class. Candidates should be prepared to teach Fall and Spring terms and possibly Summer sections, contributing to CCD's

Qualifications

Experience designing course curriculum and outcomes for architecture/AEC courses.
Ability to present complex concepts clearly to diverse learners.
Ability to mentor a class of students with varying learning needs.

Responsibilities

Design specific course curriculum, grading schemes, and assignments for AEC 1100 and related courses.
Coordinate content with program chair and fellow instructors.
Attend departmental meetings and participate in required trainings; maintain office hours.
Teach at least one section each Fall and Spring; potential Summer sections.
