Job summary

Bechtel seeks a capable architectural design professional to support the Knoxville Execution Center. You will prepare studies, drawings, calculations, and evaluations aligned with procedures, codes, and contract requirements, contributing to multi-discipline project documents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong organizational mindset, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities, with experience in architectural design and BIM. Relocation willingness is noted.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 2–5 years of relevant experience or 6–9 years of relevant work experience.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Master’s degree in Architecture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of original architectural designs layouts, details, drawings and specifications for buildings.
• Originate and review architectural 3D model content using Revit
• Prepares or assists in the preparation of cost estimates and quantity take-offs for architectural elements.
• Demonstrating awareness of the implications of building codes and project requirements
• Working collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment to produce integrated project documents
• Participate in resolution of technical issues with customers and construction.
• Participates in a work environment that is based upon openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and job satisfaction.
• Embodies a commitment to external and internal client service.
