Job summary

Groups Recover Together is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse (1099) to support intake processes, monitor patient progress during group sessions, and authorize prescriptions during monthly visits. You will document in the EMR and collaborate with counseling staff under strict clinical protocols.

The role requires an active NP/APRN license, DEA registration, and prior buprenorphine prescribing experience, with the ability to be in-office at least 5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered state NP/APRN license in the applying state.
• Active, individual DEA registration with address in the applying state.
• DEAX designation or proof of 8 hours SAMHSA-approved training required.
• Minimum 1 year actively prescribing buprenorphine.
• Proof of board certification and eligibility to work in-office at least 5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting intakes after counselor evaluation.
• Monitor patients' progress during group sessions.
• Authorize prescriptions during monthly visits.
• Complete notes and reporting in Groups EMR within required timelines.
• Operate within the clinic's protocol and team-based system to support medical management.
