Job summary

The State University of New York Canton is seeking part-time adjunct instructors to teach in the Applied Psychology/Addiction Treatment Training Certificate Program, on campus or online. Candidates may be considered for fall, spring, and summer terms.

Required is a Master’s degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. Preference is given to those with teaching experience at on-campus and online formats and CASAC designation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, or related field is required.
• Preferred: on-campus and online teaching experience and New York State Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) designation.
• Background check including employment verification and criminal history will be conducted prior to offer.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate may teach 100-400 level courses on campus and/or online for the Addiction Treatment Training Certificate Program.
• Courses are listed at Addiction Treatment Training Certificate Program.
