Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Addiction Studies, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Behavioral Health, or a closely related field.
• Currently in good standing CASAC Advanced/Master level credential per NY OASAS.
• Demonstrated professional experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, counseling, clinical supervision, or related.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices, NY OASAS regulations, ethics, and best practices in addiction counseling.

Responsibilities

• Teach Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counseling courses per NY OASAS standards.
• Deliver instruction on advanced addiction topics (assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, MAT, ethics, supervision).
• Develop course content, assignments, and assessments aligned with learning objectives.
• Maintain inclusive, supportive learning environment and adhere to LMS practices.
