Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida’s state-of-the-art, 60,000 square-foot facility incorporates the latest in leading-edge technology in order to provide optimal care for patients who have bone, joint, muscle and spine problems. Our office includes a full Physical Therapy and Occupational/Hand Therapy division, which work in close coordination with our physicians to provide non-operative, preoperative, post-operative and preventive care.
Obtain, compile, and record comprehensive patient medical data
Manage post-operative care, including writing orders, family communication, and performing post-op procedures
Oversee discharge planning, dictating summaries, prescribing medications, and confirming follow-up appointments
Monitor and report changes in patient condition, interpreting diagnostic test results
Order and conduct diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and maintain detailed patient records
Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care assessments, planning, and evaluation
Florida licensed as Physician Assistant or APRN
2-5 years of professional clinical experience
Drug Screening is required
