Qualifications

• Florida licensed as Physician Assistant or APRN.
• 2–5 years of clinical experience in orthopedics.
• Pass background screening and drug test as required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, compile, and record comprehensive patient medical data.
• Serve as the 1st assistant in surgery, ensuring equipment readiness and maintaining surgical skills.
• Manage post-operative care, including writing orders, family communication, and post-op procedures.
• Oversee discharge planning, dictating summaries, prescribing medications, and confirming follow-up appointments.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition, interpreting diagnostic test results.
• Order and conduct diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and maintain detailed patient records.
