Job summary

Think Academy in Bellevue, Washington is seeking a part-time content teacher to support elementary math instruction. You will collaborate with teachers to create a positive learning environment and provide feedback and practice to students.

Ideal candidates have calculus knowledge, teaching or tutoring experience, and strong communication. You will teach AP Calculus or AMC 10, manage a class up to 16, and work 12-20 hours weekly, mainly weekends and weekday afternoons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
• Strong knowledge of Calculus and high school mathematics.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
• Experience with AP Calculus, AMC, or competition math is a plus.
• Super passionate about teaching and education industry, with a mission to provide better education to promote social development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly responsible and love to get along with kids
• Can commit to at least one whole semester of teaching (Spring, Summer, Fall)
• Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends

Your Role

• Target Commission based on student retention
