Job summary

C2 Education in Gainesville, VA is seeking a part-time instructor to deliver engaging lessons after school according to our curriculum and philosophy. You will assess progress, provide feedback to students and parents, and maintain accurate records in a collaborative team setting.

Preferred candidates have at least two years of teaching experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Score at the 95th percentile on our diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.
• Ability to work after-school hours and Saturdays as schedule indicates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with prescribed curriculum and goals.
• Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and concerns.
• Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
