Job summary

OmniAb in Dixon, CA is seeking a part-time Animal Technician to monitor daily animal health and perform husbandry tasks to maintain the quality and health of our animals. Training will be provided for feeding, cleaning and welfare checks.

The ideal candidate can commit to a consistent schedule and is reliable. This onsite role reports to the Senior Engineer, Animal Facility and requires working weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required and English fluency.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and well-being of the animals and provide food and water.
• Collect data daily and enter the data into databases.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain records to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to biosecurity measures.
• Other duties as required.
