Saint Luke's Physician Group is searching for a BC/BE part-time anesthesiologist to cover weekends on our expanding Main Operating Room (MOR) team at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City. Applicants will be joining a vibrant hospital department encompassing over 170 anesthesiologists, critical care intensivists, CRNAs, AAs, Anesthesia Residents, and Advanced Practice Providers throughout the system.

About the position

• Part-time position expected to work Saturday and Sunday from 7AM-7PM.

• MOR cases include general, ortho, robotic thoracic, ENT, OB/GYN, urology, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, GI lab, kidney transplants, and OOOR procedures.

• Hearts, major vascular, liver transplantation, and CV lab are managed by a separate cardiac team.

• Collaborative care team model using medical direction 1:2 or 1:3; physicians personally provide anesthesia infrequently.

• Physician-led organization with opportunities for faculty appointment through the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC).

• Anesthesia residency program with 18 Residents and 7 interns, expanding to 32 residents.

• Recently adjusted, competitive compensation package.

• Candidates must have 1-3 years of dedicated experience in general anesthesiology and/or be in or recently completed an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency.

• Candidate must be eligible for MO and KS state medical licenses.
